X-rays otherwise known as radiographs are taken to visualise bones within the horse’s body. Our portable stable side x-ray machine allows the vet to be able to have an instant image and therefore quicker results. Our vets are able to take a range of x-rays for example: limbs, feet, backs, necks, heads and more.
Ultrasonography allows vets to see various soft tissues, tendons and ligaments within the horse. Our ultrasound scanner can be used to scan legs, abdomens and also the reproductive tract (including pregnancy).
