Complaints Procedure

The Equus Vets team are dedicated to providing our clients with a professional and thorough service. If you are dissatisfied with our services, we would like to hear from you. We do our best to resolve any complaints we receive as efficiently as possible.

How to complain:

If you feel able to speak to a member of our team about your complaint, please contact us via telephone 01837 214004. You will either be directed to the vet in charge or the practice manager.

Alternatively, you can write your complaint in and email and send it to . The practice manager or vet in charge will be in contact with you upon receipt of your email.

Postal option – You can write your complaint in a letter and post it to us.

Our aim is to get any complaints we receive delt with a quickly and efficiently as possible but can take up to a maximum of 10 days.

Our service operates on the same telephone number 24hrs a day 365 days a year – 01837 214004. Please listen to the options and select option 2. You will then be taken to our out of hours answering service, who will then take your details and pass you to the emergency duty vet. Please make sure you are loud and clear when answering the relevant questions. This will speed up the process of getting you to the duty vet.
