- Hayden Webb
- Veterinary Surgeon and Director

Hayden took an unusual route into veterinary medicine; first completing a degree in equine science, where his thesis examined the effects of jetlag in racehorses, before graduating from Bristol as a fully qualified vet in 2010.
He joined the team at North Park immediately after graduating, starting off in mixed practice before fulfilling a lifelong ambition when moving across to specialise in horses, with a particular interest in medicine.
Hayden has ridden all his life, and is a reformed showjumper who now spends his spare time hunting and team chasing. He also attends several point-to-point meetings as the on-duty vet, and enjoys part-owning a point-to-point horse called Ted Speed.
- Javier Perez

Javier graduated from Valencia in 2015. He started his veterinary career in Spain before relocating to the UK. Javier joined the Equus team at the beginning of 2019 and has a passion for lameness and reproduction. In his spare time, Javier enjoys surfing and playing polo.
Outside of work he enjoys sport. He enjoys Surfing and is also keen on Polo.
- Gemma Stokes

Gemma is an experienced equine vet who has worked in the West Country for over 15 years. Gemma is extremely pleased to have joined the Equus Vets team and looks forward to meeting you and your horses. She enjoys working with all horses and ponies but has a particular interest in poor performance, lameness investigation and rehabilitation including using acupuncture.
Outside of work Gemma has a young family with 2 active boys and a triathlete husband who is also a vet. She also rides and competes her own horses Shelli and Elita, currently throughly enjoying BD team Quest with Holsworthy Riding club, for whom she organises regularly events and training.
- Dr Zoe Marsh

Following graduation from the University of Liverpool in 2006 Zoe has worked for a variety of equine practices in the South West including a large equine hospital. Her interests have always included medicine cases; which cover a range of ailments such as respiratory issues, gastrointestinal problems, neurological disease, ophthalmology and poor performance of the sports horse. This culminated in gaining her certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice by examination in 2016. Other active areas of interest are Veterinary Physiotherapy with Acupuncture and Behaviour Medicine.
Outside of work she breeds and competes sports horses of various breeds from Warmbloods to Irish Draughts. Or can be found walking over the moors when not enjoying paddle boarding (in the summer!)
- Aeisha Johnson

Aeisha graduated from Cambridge in 2020 and spent 18 months working with small animals and horses in Somerset before moving to Equus to focus solely on equine work. She enjoy's all aspects of equine work and am particularly interested in diagnostic imaging. Outside of work, Aeisha can often be found riding on Dartmoor with her pony, Lolly. Aeisha is also a keen polo player and was awarded a full blue during her time at university.
- Sam Sharp

Sam started his veterinary career at Hartpury college completing a degree in Bioveterinary Science, before going on to study Veterinary Medicine at RVC. After graduating in 2022, Sam undertook an Internship at the RCV Equine Referral Hospital rotating around each of the services; Diagnostic Imaging, Medicine, Surgery and Out of Hours, developing and learning new skills. Sam also then stayed on at the RVC working for the Equine ambulatory team caring for horses in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. During this time Sam has lived in North Devon and is now excited to be back home after a long time coming and is looking forward to meeting you all and your companions as he joins the Equine and Small animal team. In his spare time Sam enjoys walking and exploring the Devonshire countryside with partner Poppy and their dogs Barley and Olive. But also enjoys tending to his small flock of sheep amongst surfing and watching CHEIFS when he can!
- Charlie Hewlett
- Administration Manager
Charlie joined our sister practice at North Park Vets in 2014 and has been the first point of contact for many of our clients ever since. As a rider and horsewoman herself, Charlie is extremely knowledgeable and was the perfect fit for the new team at Equus Vets.
Prior to joining the team at North Park, Charlie worked at Shovern Stud, and she has two horses of her own, a dressage mare Shovern Hat-Trick, and her hunt horse Rebel.
- Georgie Brown
- Receptionist
Georgie rejoined the Equus reception team in April 2022. Georgie has been around horses from a young age and both bred and produced her own young horses and groomed at 5* level Eventing. Outside of work Georgie runs her own Equine Massage business, events 'Millie' who she has owned since a weanling and can be found walking her whippet 'Coco' on the local beaches.
- Elaine Coldman
- Receptionist
Elaine joined the reception team in March 2021 - she is experienced in all things veterinary, as she previously worked for a mixed practice between 2012 - 2018. When not in the office, she teaches dance fitness classes locally and looks after her family, including rescue dog, Roma.
- Rachel Moast
- Receptionist
Rachel joined the Equus team in March 2021. Rachel has always had a passion for horses, owning several of her own and also running her own equine business along side her receptionist role.
Rachel enjoys driving her horse Curly in her spare time and also taking part in driving competitions.
